Chapter Philanthropy & Service

"To welcome the opportunity to contribute to the worlds work in the community where I am placed, because of the joy of service bestowed, and the talent of leadership multiplied." -The Alpha Gamma Delta Purpose

Alpha Gamma Delta at the University of Central Missouri loves giving back to their community through service and donating back to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. We hold events throughout the year that go back to our philanthropy and participate in events on campus with other chapters. We spend time volunteering at food banks and various local service events to give back and spread our name within the community.

Baked Potato Bar: A food event where individuals can enjoy a baked potato and get to know the sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta.

Harvesters: Go to Harvesters in Kansas City and help package food so others can eat. It is a great opportunity since Harvesters is a part of Feeding America which is our philanthropy.

Adopt A Trail: Help clean up a section of trail monthly at Pertle Springs.

Campus Cupboard: Help stock and run Campus Cupboard located on campus at the student recreation center.

Old Drum Animal Shelter: Help take care of animals by walking them around outside and getting them active so they don’t stay in the kennel all day.

Monster Mash Costume Contest: Phi Sigma Kappa holds a costume contest around Halloween and we elect individuals for our chapter to participate. We were fortunate to win the contest this past year. We earned proceeds towards the Alpha Gam Foundation.
